Why We’re Different


At VBodies, we keep the classes small (max 4 persons), and the studio is intimate. Matthew leads every class, and takes great care of each person in every class. Classes are a combo of Reformer Pilates, barre, mat, and Powerformer weight training. We invented the Powerformer machines to combine the results of of weight training and traditional Pilates, and to give you a total-body fitness solution in just 2 workouts per week. Plus, it's way more fun than the traditional gym!

About Matthew


Matthew Ryan (BSc, CSCS, CPT, Pilates) leads all classes, and is a patient, friendly and compassionate instructor. He has 14 years of experience in personal training, athletics, and group exercise. He has 5 years of experience in Pilates and barre, and has studied under master instructors from Stott, SCW, and Balanced Body. He is also a graduate of UT-Austin, and apprenticed at Train 4 the Game Austin and UT-Basketball. He loves Austin, his family, and his boxer pup Miss Texas (Texie).
